GROTON, Conn. – Chelsea Groton Bank, whose Norwich roots date back to 1858, has announced plans to relocate their Downtown branch, located at One Franklin Square/300 Main Street, to the Mercantile Exchange Building, 55 Main Street, Norwich. The Bank announced the sale of its longtime location in December. At the time of the sale, Chelsea Groton shared the intention of relocating the Downtown Norwich branch to a nearby location.The Connecticut Department of Banking approved this move on February 20, 2025,
